Since 2008, Hardball New York Training Center has stood as the premier facility in Westchester, embodying excellence in athletic development. Our mission is to empower student-athletes both physically and mentally, fostering a winning attitude and honing the skills necessary for success. Grounded in a philosophy that originated in Miami in 1993, Hardball New York is committed to being the unparalleled destination "Where the Student-Athlete Trains."

We provide an immersive experience within our 9,000 square feet facility, designed to elevate every aspect of an athlete's performance.
Hardball New York offers personalized, private instruction led by a team of exceptional trainers. Our staff, continuously advancing in expertise, ensures the comprehensive development of pitching, hitting, and defensive mechanics, complemented by strategic drills that enhance overall performance.

Throughout the year, Hardball hosts camps and clinics, including summer camps and holiday break camps. Our professional instructors, each achieving collegiate and/or professional success, impart their knowledge in an environment that balances fun with hard work. With a focus on refining pitching, catching, hitting, and fielding mechanics, we are dedicated to enhancing not only each player's game but also their sportsmanship and leadership skills.

Our professional instructors, each of whom has achieved collegiate and/or professional level success are trained to develop players of all ages and skill levels. This group of professionals are very dedicated to each player and strive to improve each player's game, sportsmanship and leadership skills.
VINNIE MALZAHN
Owner/CEO
Prior to taking ownership of Hardball, Malzahn served as Hardball's GM as well as an Instructor/Coach from 2012-2020. In addition to Hardball, Vinnie owns Cager Sports, VM Sports, & Western Edge.
Malzahn was named as Asst. New York /New Jersey Coordinator for USA Baseball's North Atlantic NTIS in 2021. He was named Asst. Coach with the Irish Jr. National Team in Jan. 2017 helping lead them to Gold in Zurich, Switzerland in the 18U European Championships in July 2017 and a fifth place finish in the 2018 European Championship in Grosetto, Italy. In 2016, Malzahn was Inducted into the St. Thomas Aquinas College Hall of Fame.
Malzahn graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas College in 2010, where he was a four-year starter at first base. He was a three-time all ECC first basemen, and the 2007 ECC Rookie of the Year. Additionally, he graduated as the Spartan’s all-time leader in home runs (25), triples (10), RBI’s (134), and walks (113), and is second all-time in doubles (38) and fourth all time in hits (196). He also set the single season record for home runs (12), and walks (38).
During his collegiate years, Malzahn played with the Alleghany County Nitros, and was a 2009 and 2010 NYCBL all-star, was the 2009 NYCBL #2 pro prospect (.307, 8 HR’s and 27 RBI’s), and was the 2009 first team all NYCBL first basemen. Prior to St. Thomas, Malzahn attended Port Jervis High School, and was a varsity baseball player from 2003-2006. A three year starter, he starred as a pitcher, catcher, and first baseman. He was named to the Times Herald Record third team in 2006 and holds single season records for home runs (9) and RBI (34) & career records for home runs (20) & RBI (79) at PJHS.

Hardball NY Baseball Teams are a highly competitive brand of travel baseball. Players will be coached by our professional staff, each of whom has achieved collegiate and/or professional level of success. See Below for more details regarding each of our programs!
